For something as ambition as this, I’d really have to plan properly. I’ll try to seek guidance from one of my lecturers who taught me Islam, Knowledge & Civilization. He was the one who first inspired me to undertake this kind of thing. If it weren’t for the 20 page assignment about the Rise & Fall of the Islamic Civilization, I would have remained ignorant of Islam’s past achievements in the Islamic Golden age. Alhamdulillah =) Anyhow, the blog @ http://science.hadithuna.com seems a good place to continue, because its got lots of free plugins to use! I’ll maintain this one for different purposes, I suppose. Maybe I’ll export the posts there. Hmm..
Assalamualaikum, World!
Posted in Misc on December 20, 2007 by ilmdiscipleAlhamdulillah, I have started this blog on wordpress. I had a number of blogs on other blog hosts, but I believe wordpress would suit my purposes really well! Inshallah, I will be part of the existing efforts to revive the heritage of Islamic Sciences for these contemporary times. Its an uphill battle, for I am merely an engineering student. However, as a Muslim, it is my duty to contribute to the Islamic Ummah as much as I could. This is quite an ambitious journey, and sure to wrought with obstacles. What will start of as months or years of research and collaboration with like-minded Muslims (especially youths), to utilizing the Islamic scientific method, will Inshallah result in the revival of the amazing Islamic science and thus the Islamic Ummah =)
Peace!
